An AI worker getting things done

About Evas

What EvaRole is, and what makes an Eva different from a chatbot.

Q.What is EvaRole?

EvaRole is a platform for hiring AI workers called Evas. An Eva is an AI worker you assemble in minutes that does real work for you — researching, writing, posting, analysing — by acting inside your connected apps. Every action an Eva takes outside the workflow waits for your approval.

Q.What exactly is an "Eva"?

An Eva is a workflow of AI steps with a clear job. You describe what you want done in plain language and EvaRole assembles the steps on a canvas — search the web, draft a document, post to Slack, update your CRM, and so on. You can also hire a pre-built Eva and tweak it. Each Eva runs on demand or on a schedule.

Q.Who is EvaRole for?

Anyone with repetitive, knowledge-based work to offload — founders, marketers, sales teams, operators, agencies. If a task involves researching, writing, summarising, or moving information between your apps, an Eva can do it, with you approving anything that leaves the workflow.

Q.How is this different from a chatbot or an automation tool?

A chatbot waits for you to ask and only talks back. A traditional automation tool needs you to wire up rigid if-this-then-that rules. An Eva is agentic: it plans and acts toward a goal across your real apps — but unlike a fully-autonomous agent, every external action is gated behind your approval and logged for audit. You get the reach of an agent with the control of a human in the loop.

Assembling a workflow on a canvas

Building & Hiring Evas

Describe an Eva or hire a pre-built one — then edit it however you like.

Q.How do I create an Eva?

Two ways. (1) Describe it: type what you want ("research a prospect and draft an outreach email") and EvaRole builds the workflow on a canvas. (2) Hire a pre-built Eva from the gallery in one click and customise it. Either way you get an editable workflow you can run immediately.

Q.Can I edit an Eva after it's built?

Yes — three ways. Talk to it ("add a step to post the result to Slack"), click any step on the canvas to edit its fields directly, or drag to rewire the steps. Changes apply live. You can also test-run an Eva first — external actions show a preview of what they'd do without actually doing it.

Q.What kinds of steps can an Eva use?

Triggers (manual or scheduled), web search, search across your uploaded documents, an LLM step for any writing/summarising/analysis task, calls to your connected apps, an HTTP step for any API, an email sender, and a WordPress publisher. Because the LLM step is defined entirely by instructions, an Eva can handle almost any reasoning or writing task with no new setup.

Q.Are there pre-built Evas?

Yes. The gallery includes Sales Assistant, Lead Researcher, Competitor Watch, Meeting Prep, Inbox Digest, Content Repurposer, Blog Publisher, Slack Daily Briefing, and a full ad-ops set — Media Buyer, Media Buyer (Auto-Apply), Creative Tester, and Budget Pacer. Hire one and make it yours.

Evas acting across connected apps

Connecting your apps

Connect your own accounts securely — your Evas act as you, privately.

Q.How do Evas act in my apps?

You connect your own accounts on the Connections page — Gmail, Slack, Google & Meta Ads, Notion, HubSpot, your calendar, and 40+ others. An Eva then acts as you, using your connections. Connecting is a standard secure sign-in (OAuth); EvaRole never sees your passwords.

Q.Which apps are supported?

40+ via our connection layer — Gmail, Outlook, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Notion, Jira, HubSpot, Salesforce, Google Calendar/Docs/Drive/Sheets, Google Ads, Meta Ads, Mailchimp, Calendly, and more. WordPress is supported through a dedicated connector that also works with self-hosted sites. If an Eva needs an app you haven't connected, the builder prompts you to connect it.

Q.Are my connections private to me?

Yes. Each connection is scoped to your account only — nothing is shared between users. Your teammates connect their own accounts, and each person's Evas act with their own credentials.

Reviewing and approving an Eva's actions

Approvals & Governance

Nothing touches the outside world until you approve it — and it's all logged.

Q.Does an Eva act on its own without me?

Never for external actions. An Eva runs its internal steps (research, writing, analysis) freely, but the moment it's about to do something in the outside world — send an email, post to Slack, change an ad budget — it pauses and shows you exactly what it will do. Nothing happens until you approve.

Q.What does an approval look like?

A card showing the proposed action in plain terms — the email and recipient, the Slack message, or the exact budget changes line by line. You can edit it, approve it, or reject it. For scheduled runs, the approval waits in your Run Inbox and you get an email when something needs you.

Q.Can I see everything my Evas have done?

Yes. The Activity dashboard shows every run, its status, scheduled vs manual, your approval rate, and a live activity feed. Every action and every approval is logged and auditable — so you always know what happened, when, and that a human signed off.

A scheduled Eva running unattended

Running & Scheduling

Run live, run in the background, or schedule Evas to work unattended.

Q.How do I run an Eva?

Click Run to run it live and watch each step on the canvas, or Run in background to have it execute on the server while you do other things — it lands in your Run Inbox. You can also set a schedule.

Q.Can Evas run on a schedule, unattended?

Yes. Set an Eva to run hourly, daily, or weekly and pick the time. It runs on its own; if it hits a step that needs your approval, it pauses in the Run Inbox and emails you. So a daily briefing or weekly ad-pacing Eva works while you sleep — without ever taking an unapproved action.

Q.What is the Run Inbox?

It's where all your background and scheduled runs land. You see live status, approve or reject anything waiting on you, and read the deliverables each run produced.

Secure, private data
🔒

Data & Privacy

Your data stays yours — encrypted, isolated, and never used to train AI.

Q.Where is my data stored, and is it used to train AI?

EvaRole runs on Vercel with a database hosted in AWS (Singapore region by default). Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Your connections, documents, and run data stay yours — we do not train AI models on your data.

Q.Is EvaRole GDPR / PDPA compliant?

Yes. EvaRole is built for GDPR, Singapore PDPA, and equivalent frameworks. You can export or delete your data at any time. See our Privacy Policy for the full list of sub-processors and your rights.

Q.Who can see my Evas and their results?

Only you (and, where applicable, your workspace). Evas, connections, and run history are scoped to your account.

Plans and pricing

Pricing & Plans

Every plan starts with a 7-day free trial. Pick the run volume that fits.

Q.How does pricing work?

Every plan starts with a 7-day free trial — no charge until it ends, cancel anytime. Plans are Starter ($49/mo), Pro ($149/mo), and Scale ($399/mo), and differ mainly by how many Evas you can run, how many runs per month, scheduled Evas, and connections. See the Billing page for the full breakdown.

Q.What counts as a "run", and why is it metered?

A run is one execution of an Eva — whether you trigger it, it runs in the background, or it fires on a schedule. Each run uses real AI model time, and sometimes paid services like live web search and your connectors, so runs are the main thing your plan meters. You can watch your runs-this-month usage on the Billing page.

Q.Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Downgrade or cancel from your account at any time; your data stays accessible and exportable. You're never charged for an external action you didn't approve.
